Shortened Spacewalk Due to Cut Glove
Posted by

NASA put safety first and immediately cut short the spacewalk after astronaut Rick Mastracchio discovered a cut in his glove. This comes amidst the concerns for the shuttle after a piece of foam gouged the space shuttle's heat-shielded underbelly. NASA believes that the space shuttle should be safe to return as scheduled. Emergency plans are put into effect should another shuttle be required to retrieve the astronauts from the International Space Station. (ISS)
